Bingo Night & Goodbyes

This past Tuesday my stamp ladies and I gathered one last time before my family moves from Rhode Island to Minnesota.  These ladies have not only been my customers, but we've all become friends over time, and I wanted to have a fun night before I said goodbye see ya later.

Each lady paid $25 which included 2 cards, a 3D project, a doorprize and a thank you present.
Oh yeah, and the chance to win a BIG doorprize!

The first of the three bigger prizes was this "holiday tag kit":
Ornate Tag Topper Punch (137416)
Old Olive Twine (134579)
Old Olive Marker (100079)
Real Red Marker (100052)
Perfect prize to win to start making holiday tags!

Second of the three was this "Thank You Bundle":
Watercolor Thank You (135377)
1/2 Subtles CS pack (131193) cut to A2 card bases
3 Subtles Ink Pads (131185) I purchased the set of 10 to split up
last year's subtles DSP cut to 4x6 sheets

and lastly is the "Endless Birthday Bundle":
Endless Birthday Wishes (140273)
Clear Block B 117147
1 Blender Pen (102845)
1/2 Subtles CS pack (131193) cut to A2 card bases
3 Subtles Ink Pads (131185) Again, I purchased the set of 10 to split up
last year's subtles DSP cut to 4x6 sheets

I took the Rotary Alphabet Stamp to get the word bingo all over the background of the tags.  I took my Blackberry Bliss marker to finish it off :)

The grand prize was the Big Shot (113439) with the Spring Flowers embossing folder from the clearance rack (137365)

This was my favorite tag to make!  I was so excited making this knowing that someone else would soon have the best SU tool!

We made 2 cards and this 3D pumpkin before we played bingo.   I forgot to take a picture of the 2 cards, but I did take a picture of the pumpkin.  I embossed and cut 120 2" circles during the Steeler game on Monday.  I couldn't help but think they looked like little taco shells!

Am I right? Or just weird? :)
(don't answer that...)

The stem is made with the corrugated cardstock and the little twisted pieces are Soft Suede cardstock. The leaf is a 3/4" circle cut from Cherry On Top DSP.  Thanks Shannon (CrushOnColour) for the perfect idea for the leaf!

I hope my friends don't mind - here they are enjoying bingo!

Top prize winners!

Last time stamping with me.
(insert sad emoji)

They're planning to still gather together which makes me happy!

The ladies who did not win one of the big prize did go home with ribbon, embellishments, stamp sets or DSP... :) I think they had a great time!

I gave them each a notebook and some twine.  These notebooks were the perfect match for Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo <3

It's not nearly enough to tell them how much I have appreciated them.  They're my first stamp club - but certainly not my last!  Love you ladies!

Thanks for swinging by - Have a fantastic weekend!

  2. It looks like so much fun! LOVE the pumpkins - I pinned them and think I'll use them somehow for Thanksgiving table settings (although I'll smile at the tacos!)
