Happy New Year to you all! I hope 2015 was full of many memories and adventures. We are certainly excited for a new year. We closed on our house this past Monday and we are slowly moving in. Friday we had 9 adults painting and (hopefully) will finish tonight. Carpet comes tomorrow and our household goods (that we haven't seen since early June) will FINALLY be here! I'm so ready for normalcy! And a craft room!!
No matter how crazy life can be though, I can still find time to stamp. This month, The Creation Station team is featuring our favorite new items from the upcoming Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up!. You can order from the catalog and earn free Sale-a-Bration items starting Tuesday!!
I only ordered two new sets from the occasions catalog. We're penny pinching here, remember? Carpet, paint, new couch - yep, all expensive... But a girl has to get SOME new stuff, right? One of the (must have) sets is called Number of Years. It bundles with matching number framelits (with a few extra) and it's a set that can certainly cover all birthdays and anniversaries! I also purchased the new Birthday Bouquet DSP and the It's My Party candy dots.
So here's the card I made them using a lot of new goodies from the occasions catalog:
(Please excuse the iPad pictures... I forgot my good camera and mailed the card shortly after!)
The new Birthday Bouquet DSP is one of my favorites ever! I typically hoard DSP but I can certainly see myself putting this entire pack to use.
I made this card for two very special people - my parents! They are such a beautiful example of Christ's love and they truly love each other. I'm so blessed to call them mom and dad!
They're celebrating 47 years!!! <3 Aren't the adorable!?
Thanks for joining us again for this month's hop! I hope that this inspires you to take closer look at the Number of Years stamp set.
If you're starting with me, feel free to jump back to Kimberly's page and work your way backwards through the hop. I'm thinking if SU selected her as a Design Team member, you won't be disappointed! :)
Or, if you like to work clockwise, head on over to Ms. Dena's page. She's quite the witty gal and certainly has a creative spin on things! (You won't be disappointed there either!)
Be sure to check the entire hop out and leave some love, pin your favorites and head back next month on the first Sunday :)
So pretty! The Number of Years Bundle was my very first MUST have!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Holly but more impressive is the 47 years of marriage. My parents have been married the same I believe. It's hard to believe because it's so rare these days. I'm in love with all the layers you have on your card. XOXOXO
