Welcome to our second Stamp Review Crew hop for the month! If this is your first time seeing a hop from the Stamp Review Crew - welcome! We are a group of stampers from all over the globe that highlight a particular stamp set on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month! If you came from Sue's page - thank you for continuing on to me.
Today we are featuring the Timeless Textures stamp set. This is a great set for backgrounds, but because the stamps are more accent stamps than anything, I paired this set with the Mixed Drinks set from the annual catalog.
The washi I chose for the set fits perfectly with the - "it's the weekend - let's go!" words. It is from the Moments Like These Project Life Accessories Kit and the crumb cake washi is from the Wrapped in Warmth Washi Pack.

There are many great stamps in this set. I am certain that you will love what you see on this hop! Next is the lovely Dawn Tidd and I did get a sneak peek and I can't wait to CASE it! You could head back to the awesome Sue Plote (um, let's just say SU! Artisan) :)
If you get lost along the way, you can go to the SRC blog's main page!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

These are so cool, Holly! I love how you have umbrellas, ice cubes and fruit slices flying through the air and your use of the set is so subtle, but adds so much!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mike! I was hoping it wasn't too subtle of a look, but as a background stamp set, I think it can be the "back-up" singer :)
DeleteHow fun! Love the combo of crumb cake and black with a pop of color!
ReplyDeleteThanks Betty! That combo was a first for me and I think I love it too!
DeleteGreat cards Holly...I might need Mixed Drinks now!! xox
ReplyDeleteThanks Deli :)
DeleteLove them
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary :)
DeleteLove them
ReplyDeleteThese cards are absolutely fabulous! I love how you used the same layout, but different background images. What a fantastic whimsical feel!
ReplyDeleteAwe, thanks Heidi! I think the same layout makes card making fun (and quick!) which is helpful when I'm in a rush :)
DeleteOMG, OMG, OMG!! I love these cards!!! It's a really good thing I already have both stamp sets as I may have been forced to do an impulsive order right now :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you like them! I was worried that the Mixed Drinks would be too much of a show stealer :)
DeleteHolly, these cards are adorable! So many fun elements in each one but all using the same design. I was really resisting the drinks stamp set and you are definitely moving me in the other direction...
ReplyDeleteOops! Sorry to be an enabler - tehehe! :) Thanks for your sweet comment Mickey :)
