Rooted In Nature Blog Hop with the Crafty Carrot Collective

Hello there and welcome to a very special blog hop!
I am so excited to share today's post! A few month's back I was asked to join The Crafty Carrot Collective as a guest designer for the month of September and I could not pass this up!

Today's blog hop is a sneak peek of some of the inspiring projects you can make with a subscription to the Rooted In Nature online program.  There are 4 very talented designers that make up the team and I know you'll be delighted with what you receive in the program!
You can find out all about it by clicking the link above.

To be honest, I have not taken this set out much to play with, but I knew I wanted to use this sheet of designer series paper.  It's my favorite design from the pack (though they are all gorgeous).

I added a layer of Vellum Cardstock for a soft detail and adhered it with some adhesive behind the Stitched Shapes circle and added a little thread in the corners.  I also took some Multipurpose Liquid Glue and an Aqua Painter and added some splatter in the background.  I then added some Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set it.  This adds a really fun detail to any card.

The sentiment was embossed twice (the "of you" was fussy cut to fit on the tree) and the full sentiment was cut out using the large tree framelit.

I added some copper Metallic Thread and copper Leaves Trinkets to match.

I hope you like my card and it inspires you to create your own version with this beautiful bundle.  Make sure to make your way around the hop and be inspired by the rest of the ladies!

Next up is the wonderfully talented, Cindy Schuster!
