Welcome back to another hop with the Creation Station! I just returned from the K-Love Christian cruise and I'm not quite ready to get back to the norm :) I do have time to stamp though and was able to make 49 cards with my mom this Thursday and Friday!
Note: I'm at my parent's house, the Internet is crazy slow and limited, so a big thank you goes out to Cindy Schuster. Without her, this post would not have been published! Thanks girl!
This month we are featuring the Bloomin' Love bundle and glimmer paper. I do not own the Bloomin' Love set, but when I dropped the boys off at my parents house before the cruise, I was able to use my mom's set. So glad my "upline" gets all the goodies!
For this card, I wanted to keep it simple. You might notice the sentiment from Suite Sayings looks a little different from the one in the catalog. Nothing the Marvelous Markers can't do! :)
The sentiment itself is a great one for Easter, but liked the way it turned out for this card.
This next card is not my original idea and I wish I knew who to give credit to! Whoever thinks of cutting a butterfly out of the Bloomin' Hearts thinlit needs an award. Or a high five. :)
I think I'm sold on both the Bloomin' Love bundle AND Suite Sayings. I hope you like what I made today! Be sure to check out the entire group of ladies and what they came up with. :) You can click on previous and head on back to the lovely Jennifer's blog:
Or continue through to sweet Mikaela's to see her creation!
Thanks again for stopping by!

Such pretty creations! Love the open heart placed back into the original cutout.
ReplyDeleteLove them both Holly, Julie x
ReplyDeleteThe heart inlay look is so classy. I am so glad you shared the set for the greeting on the "beautiful you" card--you're brilliant. I was about to look for it in the catalog because I was thinking I had to have that stamp, and guess what, I do. Thanks for sharing your designs. Smiles, Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteLovely card! I like the way you left the die cut and backed it. Quite stunning!
ReplyDeleteLove your color selections! And use of omitting the words is spot on. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh Holly, I love how you've die cut the already die cut heart, with the Butterfly Framelit. A very clever and very beautiful idea for some stunning work x
