This Little Piggy with the Stamp Review Crew

Hello there!

I hope you've noticed I've been enjoying some time stamping before our little one arrives (any day now).  I'm trying to stamp as much as I can before I'm lacking sleep and motivation - haha!  I've jumped back in with a few of the design teams that I took a break from - today's being the Stamp Review Crew.

Every other Monday we highlight a particular stamp set from the current annual or holiday catalog.  Today's set is the cute This Little Piggy stamp set.  We were lucky to receive this set at OnStage in April - but sadly I haven't used it much.  I definitely need should - it's caa-ute!

The piggy I like the most is this one with the wings:

I colored the little piggy with Watercolor Pencils and an Aqua Painter on some Shimmery White CS.  I decided to fussy cut the pig and put it on some Kraft cardstock to make it stand out more.  Plus, I'm super excited that Kraft cardstock is back with the holiday catalog so I had to use it!  Cutting the image out also gave me the idea to move the sentiment off-center, which I like.

I did color the wings with Clear Wink of Stella, but it's hard to tell in the picture.

(by the way... want to know how to get the middle of the curly tail out?? 1/16" Handheld Circle Punch!)

And to add just a little more detail, I used the same designer series paper from the Delightful Daisy DSP pack for the inside of the card too.  A little twine and it's complete.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I sure hope you enjoy the hop and get lots of inspiration for the This Little Piggy stamp set.  You can head backwards towards the lovely and talented Natalie Lapakko or click the next button and be wowed by the awesome Holly Krautkremer!

Have a wonderful week!
