Been a busy weekend!

Our plans were canceled for the weekend so I (happily) spent time in my craft room making new cards! I'm planning on selling cards at my yard sale and a craft fair so I've been stocking up :)

Here's a few that I made this weekend - enjoy!

These are my adaptations of two thanksgiving ones and a birthday one I found on Pinterest:

This one was my version of the one I found on the "stampin by the sea" blog ... I like my "net" ribbon I made by fraying some ribbon.

Here are the others I came up with using the Chalk Talk set:

I have acquired way too much dsp over the years and I need to start using more!

The set below is this years "Ronald McDonald" set. A portion (I think it's $2) of every set sold goes to the Ronald McDonald charity. The set is called Tag It!

Thanks for looking! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Gods blessings to you and yours :)

First banners :)

Well the first banner class took place Saturday and I never got around to postin the pics. The girls really enjoyed it and they'll be back next month for the "spooky banner".  Found out the best thing to use was hot glue, and if you tie a knot on both sides of the while the banner pieces don't curl.

Also want to shout out to any of my followers that are Pittsburgh Pirates fans! We got win number 82 tonight guaranteeing the first winning season in 21 years! Longest losing streak in ANY sport. Lets go Bucs!

Disappointed!

I had my yard sale this morning on the military base. Lots of traffic but no one interested in stamps! I had 55 homemade cards ready to buy too. The girl who set up shop beside me bought two sets for her mom and I gave her a card to send along... But I was so bummed. I had 8 girls sign up for my banner club (that starts in 2 hours!) and only 2 are coming.. So I took along next months spooky banner and the frame I made extra, and no one signed up :( not even for events and info... Had catalogs too.. man, people are missing out on this awesomeness!!

Oh well...

Cool news is I had a former demo give me a $60 order! So that was awesome! (She knew I was gonna be there...) she used to hold card classes at the base too and had too many girls bail on her. She had to stop being a demo because I that... Oh, to be a successful demonstrator not knowing if you'll be pending this quarter!

Here's my latest card. I made 6 of them last night to sell.

For Shelli...

As most of you ladies that follow SU! may have heard, Shelli Gardner the co-founder and CEO of Stampin' Up! was in a bad riding accident with her horse.  You can find the story on her blog. This is the card I made for her. She broke her collarbone, pelvis and right wrist in three places (wont be stamping now)... Long road to recovery ahead. Please lift her up in your prayers.

Hope you all had a great long weekend! Back to work tomorrow...
