Sky Is the Limit - Times Two

Just a quick post today.  I traveled the past two days across 7 states and I'm a little exhausted.  But I wanted to share with you another set that you can earn free with a $50 order.  This set is called Sky is the Limit and you can only earn this set FREE through February 15th.

The set fits many occasions from baby to birthday to anniversary.  So what do you say?  Want to earn your own set?

Happy stampin'!

Happy Home Times Two!

It is such a great feeling to be in my craft room! It's about 90% unpacked and I had a chance to sit down and add some ink to some brand new stamp sets and I'm excited to show you 2 cards today that I made using the new Happy Home stamp set.  This set is adorable on its own, but I did pair it with the matching Hearth & Home thinlits.
I added some "It's My Party enamel dots" to the flowers.  I also used the flower stamp to make the leaves too.

The second card I made with this set turned out cuter than I expected.  It was a little stretch for me to use bold colors, but I really like the way it turned out!  The DSP is one of the exclusive Sale-a-Bration items that you can earn FREE with a $50 order!  It's two sided - one has this swirly look and the other is a very soft plainer look.  Both sides are great though!

Isn't that little kite flying kid cute?

Thanks for swinging by!  Make sure you check out the NEW weekly deals Tuesday morning.
Also, if you are placing an order soon less than $150, please use hostess code: E29ZAUEM :)
Below are the supplies needed for both cards!
Happy stamping!

Congrats on Your Retirement!

Today my dear friend Kellie is retiring from the Air Force after 20+ years of dedicated service and sacrifice.  She looks way to young to be retiring doesn't she??
I'm so glad our paths crossed during my military career.  I can honestly say I have never worked for someone so caring and devoted.  Congrats on your career Kel!  Thanks for all you do!
Here is the card I made her.  I had this in mind as soon as I saw the set - driving off into a sunset - great way to start an adventure =)

I used the Shimmer White Cardstock which is perfect for watercoloring and it has a shimmer already on it - even after you add color!  Cool, right?  I did add some Wink of Stella to the balloons for some extra glitz.

I did break out an old retired set.  Comes in handy for my military friends. :)

Thanks for stopping by!  Leave some love for my friend Kellie!

Introducing Stamp of the Month Club!

Hi everyone!  Things are starting to come together at our new house and I'm happy to say, I have my craft room back :)  this also means, I have FINALLY figured out the first stamp of the month!  Forgive me, but I chose a stamp that actually made the price more than $35.  Next month's will not be as expensive. Live an learn I guess! 😬
This is a great opportunity not only to start your stamp collection, but also add an ink pad each month.  Because we are a few weeks into one of the best times to buy stamps and earn free merchandise, I've added a "bigger" SOTM Kit so you can earn a FREE Sale-a-Bration (SAB) item :)

Here are the two options:

Option 1: $55 shipped.  You will get Watercolor Words Stamp Set, Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride & memento black ink and all supplies needed to make 6 cards.

***because it is Sale-a-Bration, every $50 spent earned you free product from the SAB catalog.  If you pick one of the sets shown here:
I will throw in supplies to make two cards PLUS you get the stamp set!!!  You can choose something else free from the SAB catalog, you just won't receive the 2 extra cards***

Option 2: $40 shipped. You will get Watercolor Words Stamp Set, Mint Macaron ink and all supplies needed to make 6 cards.

I know what I'd pick 😊 $15 more for two more inks AND a sale-a-bration item?? 😊

Please let me know by Jan 20th so I can place orders and have everything cut and sent to you first week in February. 😊

Payment can be made by PayPal or check. 😊 comment below or email me at!

Happy stamping :)

Creation Station - Occasions Favorites

Happy New Year to you all! I hope 2015 was full of many memories and adventures.  We are certainly excited for a new year.  We closed on our house this past Monday and we are slowly moving in.  Friday we had 9 adults painting and (hopefully) will finish tonight. Carpet comes tomorrow and our household goods (that we haven't seen since early June) will FINALLY be here! I'm so ready for normalcy! And a craft room!!

No matter how crazy life can be though, I can still find time to stamp.  This month, The Creation Station team is featuring our favorite new items from the upcoming Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up!.  You can order from the catalog and earn free Sale-a-Bration items starting Tuesday!!

I only ordered two new sets from the occasions catalog.  We're penny pinching here, remember?  Carpet, paint, new couch - yep, all expensive... But a girl has to get SOME new stuff, right?  One of the (must have) sets is called Number of Years.  It bundles with matching number framelits (with a few extra) and it's a set that can certainly cover all birthdays and anniversaries! I also purchased the new Birthday Bouquet DSP and the It's My Party candy dots.
So here's the card I made them using a lot of new goodies from the occasions catalog:
(Please excuse the iPad pictures... I forgot my good camera and mailed the card shortly after!)
The new Birthday Bouquet DSP is one of my favorites ever!  I typically hoard DSP but I can certainly see myself putting this entire pack to use.
I made this card for two very special people - my parents!  They are such a beautiful example of Christ's love and they truly love each other.  I'm so blessed to call them mom and dad!
They're celebrating 47 years!!! <3 Aren't the adorable!?
Thanks for joining us again for this month's hop!  I hope that this inspires you to take closer look at the Number of Years stamp set.
If you're starting with me, feel free to jump back to Kimberly's page and work your way backwards through the hop.  I'm thinking if SU selected her as a Design Team member, you won't be disappointed! :)
Or, if you like to work clockwise, head on over to Ms. Dena's page.  She's quite the witty gal and certainly has a creative spin on things! (You won't be disappointed there either!)
Be sure to check the entire hop out and leave some love, pin your favorites and head back next month on the first Sunday :)
